2. HOW TO USE AND CONFIGURE

This section will guide you to configure Rootways Stripe Payment Gateway Extension. It’s very easy and fast!

2.1 License Key Settings:
  • Log in to Admin Panel and then click STORES -> Configuration -> ROOTWAYS EXTENSIONS -> Stripe Payment -> Settings
  • Below is the screen shot of Stripe Payment Gateway license key settings. Please enter license key for this extension that was emailed by us to you after your purchase.
2.2 Stripe Payment Method Management:
    • Go to STORES -> Configuration -> SALES -> Payment Methods -> Stripe Payment Method -> By Rootways Inc.
    • You can see below screen. Fill up all required detail and save it.
    • Enable: You can enable/disable this payment method using this option.
    • Title: Title of the payment method to be visible at front side.
    • Test Mode: Choose whether to enable/disable the test mode
    • Test Secret Key: Add the Test secret key of the Stripe account.
    • Live Secret Key: Add the Live secret key of the Stripe account.
General Settings
    • Credit Card Types: Choose type of credit cards that you want to display at front-end.
    • Payment Action: Choose whether it’s Authorized Only or Authorized and Capture
    • New order status: Choose whether new order status is pending or processing.
    • Payment from Applicable Countries: Choose whether you want to allow payment method for all or specific countries only.
    • Payment from Specific Countries: Select countries in which you want to allow this payment method.
    • Minimum Order Total: Add minimum order amount applicable for this payment method.
    • Maximum Order Total: Add maximum order amount applicable for this payment method.
    • Sort Order: Sort order of this payment method at checkout page
Card Settings
  • Enable CVC Verification: If set to ‘No’ then CVC will not be checked while placing order.
  • Enable Zip-code Verification: If set to ‘Yes’ then the transaction will be allowed only if zip code entered for billing address for the same credit card details.
  • Send Billing Address Details: If set to ‘Yes’ then billing address will be sent with each transaction.

FRONT END

  • After setting up Stripe Payment Method you can see it on the checkout page, as in the screenshot below. Now you can capture ample amount of orders using Stripe.

  • First time after installation of Rootways Mega Menu you will see simple dropdown of Categories and Sub Categories from the main menu. To modify Mega Menu options you can login to Magento Admin→ PRODUCTS→ Categories and select Category to modify. You will see an additional section called “Rootways Menu” from where you can define Menu type based on your requirements.

Uninstallation Guide

    Follow below steps if you want to completely remove our mega menu from your Magento 2 website.

  • Step 1: Open “eav_attribute” table of your database and delete all entries of our mega menu.usually, those entries start with. “megamenu_” (check below screenshot)

  • Step 3:Now remove all files and folder of our extension from /app/code and run these commands from your website docroot. php bin/magento setup:upgrade

  • Use FTP Client (e.g. FileZilla or WinSCP) to upload all files and folders of the extension to your Magento site. Unzip the extension package file and upload it on the root directory of your Magento 2 website installation.
  • After unzipping extension file, you can see “Authorizecim” directory at app/code/Rootways/.
  • After uploading, run this command from SSH php bin/magento setup:upgrade.
  • After that run this command from SSH only if your Magento 2 website is in “Production” mode php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy.

License Activation

How to activate the extension?

  • Go to your Magento website admin -> STORES -> Configuration -> ROOTWAYS EXTENSIONS -> Authorize.net Payment.
  • Here you can see “License Key” text field. Enter license key sent by us on your registered email.
  • Here you can see another field “Is Multi Store”. Set it to “Yes” if your Magento website is a multi-store setup with different URLs at the front-end. (NOTE: if your website is multi-store setup but do not has different URLs based on store view or website then set
    it to “NO”)
  • Click “Save Config” button and if your license key is valid for your domain then Status will be Extension Activated.
  • Now you can enable extension from Admin -> STORES -> Configuration -> SALES -> Payment Methods -> Payment Module for Authorize.net (by Rootways Inc.)

  • Where to add generated .pem file in Magento?
    After generating .pem file from you Apple Pay account take this file and put it to this
    location “/app/code/Rootways/Authorizecim/certs” on your Magento website FTP.
    Important: If your payment mode is live then the name of this .pem file is “applepay-live-cert.pem” or if payment mode is test then name of file is “apple-pay-testcert.pem”.
