This section will show you how to configure Rootways Gallery Extension in your webstore.

2.1 General Settings:

This section will show you how to manage Image Gallery extension from Configuration settings.
Log in to Admin Panel and then click System -> Configuration -> Rootways (Left sidebar) -> Image Gallery.
Below is the screenshot of the Settings and description of each of the configuration setting.

• Domain Mode: If your webstore/site is live then select Domain Mode ‘Live’ otherwise ‘Development’.
• Enable: Enable/Disable Image Gallery using this setting. If it is disabled then the gallery will remain in your admin but will not be shown on front end.
• Domain: Enter domain URL that was entered at time of purchase extension.
• License Key: Enter License key that was sent to you by us in the email.
• Image Listing Type: This will decide in which way you want to display images. Choose ‘New Page’ if you want images to be displayed on a separate page or ‘Popup Only’ if you want to show images in a pop up window.
• Page Title: Enter title for the front-end webpage on which you have uploaded Image Gallery.
• Meta Keywords: Write keywords for front end image gallery page.
• Meta Description: Write description for front end image gallery page.
• Gallery Thumbnail Width: Set width of the the preview thumbnail of Gallery album.
• Gallery Thumbnail Height: Set height of the the preview thumbnail of Gallery album.

2.2 Gallery Management:

This section will show you how to manage Gallery. Go to Admin -> Image Gallery -> Manage Gallery.

Add Gallery: Click on ‘Add Gallery’ button from top right to add new Gallery.
1) Gallery General: Check below screenshot for adding general gallery information.

This tab contains general information of Gallery. There are 5 fields under Gallery General tab.

• Title: This will be the title of the Gallery.
• Gallery Thumbnail: Choose the gallery thumbnail image for preview.
• Description: Add details/description of the gallery or the images it contains.
• Sort Order: Write sort orders (starting from 0) to sort multiple galleries in particuar order.
• Status: Select Enabled if you want to display Gallery on the front end and Disabled if you currently don’t want to show gallery on front-end. Disabling a Gallery doesn’t remove it from the Admin.

2) Images: Add the images under the Gallery from here. Check out below screenshot.

Click ‘Browse Images’ button, select all the images that you want to add in this Gallery. Now click ‘Upload Images’. You will be able to see all the images on the table with preview. Add Title, Description, Sort Order. Check Disable if you want to temporary disable the image from Gallery. To permanently remove the image, check ‘Remove’.

Save all the changes and reload the front end. You will see the Gallery with images on your store/site.

3. FRONT END – DISPLAY GALLERY

   1) After installed and enable our extension you can see image gallery using below URL.

   2) To add specific gallery from CMS page use below code in CMS page. Add code by just changing category_id, you can also add more than one galleries in one CMS page by just repeat below code and change gallery id.

• Add JS: Set “Yes” if you are using Magento version 1.8 and below to include js file, otherwise set it to No.

2.2 Slideshow Management:

This section will show you how to manage Slideshow. Go to Admin -> Root Slideshow -> Manage Slideshow.

Add Slideshow: Click on ‘Add Slideshow’ button from top right to add new slideshow, when you click on ‘Add Slideshow’ button you can see 4 tabs for add slideshow. It will cover your all requirements for all type of slideshow for your website.

There are 4 tabs to manage each slideshow:
1) Slideshow General
2) Images
3) Display on Categories
4) Display on CMS page

1) Slideshow General:
This tab contains general information of slideshow. There are 6 fields under Slideshow General Tab.

– Title:Title of slideshow.
– Identifier: Identifier of slideshow, its value is unique.
– Width: Width of slideshow, on front-end slideshow’s width depends on this field.
– Height: Height of slideshow, on front-end slideshow’s height depends on this field.
– Sort Order: Sort order of slideshow, slideshow is displayed according to this order at slideshow listing page on admin side.
– Status: You can enable/disable slideshow with this field.

2) Images:
Add images to feature them in slideshow from this tab, to add image click on ‘Browse file…’ button, select images and then ‘Upload Files’ you can also upload more than one images at a time. There are 7 columns to Image tab.
Below is the screenshot that shows 7 columns of Image tab and description of each field:

– Image: You can see uploaded image from this column.
– Link: You can add link of the page you want to redirect when clicking on each image by this field. ATTENTION:Don’t write your domain or base URL to this link e.g. if you want to add link like https://DOMAIN/categorypage/ then just write category page/ to link fields no need to write https://domain it’s taken by default
– Title: You can add title of each images by this field, you can see this title with big font on image of slideshow on front-end.
– Description: You can add short description of each image by this field, you can see this content with images of slideshow on front-end.
– Order: You can set order of images using this field; images are displayed according to this order on front-end slideshow.
– Disable: You can disable image by checking disable option. If image is disabled then it will not display anymore on slideshow front-end.
– Remove: You can remove image by checking remove option and when you click on save then the image will automatically be deleted.

3) Display on Categories:
You can set slideshow for specific category by selecting category from this tab. You can see all categories’ listing over here, you can also select more than one category to display slideshow on front-end. Below is the screenshot that features’ Display on Categories’ tab:

4) Display on CMS page:
You can set slideshow for specific CMS page by selecting CMS page from this tab. You can see all CMS pages’ listing over here, you can also select more than one CMS page to display in slideshow on front-end. Below is the screenshot that features ‘Display on CMS’ tab:

After filling all required information for slideshow click on ‘Save’ or ‘Save andContinue Edit’button. Now check the front-end of your website, reload it and you’ll see beautiful and eye-catching Rootways Slideshow with multiple images.

Manage Slideshow Listing at admin.
You can see the list of all slideshow under Admin -> Root Slideshow -> Manage Slideshow. You can search slideshow by ID, Title, Width, Height, Sort Order and Status of the slideshow. You can edit slideshow by clicking on edit action or click on any slideshow. Default order of slideshow is based on ascending Sort Oder of Slideshow. Below is the screenshot that features Slideshow list:

2. HOW TO USE AND CONFIGURE

This section will show you how to configure Rootways Advance Product Filter Extension. It’s very easy and fast!

2.1 General Settings:

Go to Admin -> System -> Configuration -> Rootways -> Advanced Product Filter Shown below is the screen shot for Settings and detailed description of each setting.

• Enable: Enable/Disable Product Filter Extension using this setting. If it is disabled then you can not see Advance Product Filter menu in admin main navigation under Catalog.
• Domain Mode: Choose Live or Development mode.
• Domain: If Live Mode is selected, then enter live domain URL that was entered at the time of purchase of the extension or if you’ve selected Development Mode, then enter development domain URL that was entered at the time of purchase of the extension.
• License key: Enter License key that was sent to you by us from the email.

2.2 Manage Product Filter :

After successfully configuring extension you can see New Menu ‘Advanced Product Filter’ under Catalog at admin main navigation. Go to Admin -> Catalog -> Advanced Product Filter.

Here you can see two options for Advanced Product Filter Menu.

– At Admin side under ‘Sale Product’ Menu you can see collection of all on-sale products. Products with Special price is displayed here only.

– If product’s Special From and To Date is out of range then this product will not be displayed here. e.g. In Below screen shot Special Price is added and Special Price From Date is 11/9/2015 and Special Price To Date is 01/31/2016, so when Special Price is left blank or current date is not between this Special From and To Date then product automatically stops displaying from here.

– You can also manage products from here like Adding, Editing or Deleting products from here.

– You can see extra columns here, like Special Price, Special Price From Date, Special Price To Date and Product Image. Special Price From and To Date fields also have calender for searching product with From and To range.

– You can also search product by any of the fields of products.

2) New Products:

– At Admin side under ‘New Product’ Menu you can see collection of all new products only.

Note: If you are not able to see both of these pages at front end then make sure you have moved Files and Folders of extension to your current Package or Theme.
